'FORGOTTEN NORWICH'
ILLUSTRATION FESTIVAL @ THE FORUM, NORWICH
Working as part of a collective to record and inform a local audience of the areas forgotten and abandoned spaces.
By raising awareness of these spaces we can explore the relationship the local people have to them - in relation to carrying out daily journeys and not necessarily being aware of the wasted space present in their community. The result of an interactive exhibition held at Norwich Forum allowed the team to engage with an audience across all ages and gather information to form a collaborative outcome with the public. In exchange of their participation on the interactive map (documenting their personal journey to the Forum, amongst the highlighted spaces) they received a postcard of one of our found locations with it's forgotten history. A verbal exchange of information provided by members of the public has informed us of other spaces to explore and to progress the project forward and continue to raise awareness.
